About the Spare the Air Employer Program

Since the inception of the Spare the Air program more than 25 years ago, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has partnered with nearly 2,000 employers throughout the Bay Area through the Spare the Air Employer Program to educate their employees about alternatives to driving alone and notify them about Spare the Air Alerts. The Employer Program provides free materials and counsel to make it easy to implement a commute program at your worksite.
